Indo Food Run 2009 - 2

Wee.. Duck King Restaurant. It offers variety of Chinese food (sorry no pics =( was to busy eating the delicious food), but of course as the name suggested its specialities is their Peking Duck. Once you order a pecking duck, they asked you how do we want the duck meat to be cooked (there's variety of it, as far as I remember we want it to be sauced black pepper or something...). The duck skin, is as per usual, wrapped into a small kebab layer and was mixed with slices of cucumber and duck sauce. Together, they create nasty (good!) taste of peking duck =)
Hmm.. This one was found on the entrance of Duck King Restaurant. Not quiet sure what it was, but my dad said its nice... Being a nice food, he also mention its very priceyy... But lol, why didn't I feel like eating it? =p

Marche restaurant (Plaza Senayan) is an all new concept of food court in Jakarta. When we enter, we greeted with a swedish (?) language for Welcome to Marche! Very warm welcome, we then given a card for us to order our food. The card itself has a price tag. If you ever lost it, thats 1 million rupiah of your pocket. Everytime you order food or beverages in this restaurant, they will stamp your card in according to what you order (simple concept). You then bring the card to the cashier on your way out after dining. The place overall is the best design for food court I've seen inside shopping mall. It replicate the live of market in Europe (even with the houses!) with people shouting and the loud sound of cutting and cooking meat.

The Pizza! and wow, this pizza has a very nice taste (I think it was chicken pizza). I put a lot of chili powder on top of it if you have noticed =p ahaha..

This is what my girlfriend order. I believe it called rosti (its basically a omelete made of pure potatoes) with beef sausage. It's very nice food!
Overall the food has high standard of taste, however it also come with a high standard of price. Not cheap, but a good place to have a dining at =)
